Keith was born in Harlem not far from the famed Apollo Theatre, worked at the New York Stock Exchange in the commodities market and sang at nightclubs until he was discovered in 1987. He released his debut album, "Make It Last Forever" in 1987 which sold over 3 million copies. The song "I Want Her" hit No. 1 and the title track reached No. 2 on the R&B charts.
Keith has produced songs for artists such as Men At Large -- "Don't Cry", Dru Hill -- "Love's Train, Share My World;" Immature -- "Extra, Extra;" Ol Skool -- "Am I Dreaming -- Xscape:", The Isley Brothers -- "Slow Is The Way"; and The O'Jays -- Keith Sweat "Baby You Know".

Convenient event parking is available at the public garage on the corner of Main and Colfax, and at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel/1st Source Bank Complex. Parking is also available on the streets within walking distance of the Morris and also at the Leighton Center on Washington Street between Main and Michigan Streets. PLEASE NOTE: The surface parking lots immediately to the north of the Morris Performing Arts Center are private lots. No public parking is permitted in the Hoffman or LaSalle Building lots. Vehicles risk being towed.
